TEE TIME PROCEDURES

In May, June & September, first start time is 8:30 am & every 10 minutes thereafter. In July & August, first start time will be 8:00 a.m.

Learn your tee time and group number by visiting the web site. The list will be posted to the web site by the Golf Captain by Monday the week before scheduled play.  

 

No changes will be made to the posted tee times on the website.  If a change is necessary, you may contact the pro shop up to 6 days in advance for cancellations. After that time you may find a substitute from among our league members to replace you or you will be considered a "no-show" and will have to pay full green fees as penalty. 

The future weeks' sign-up form will be sent by email 10 days in advance of the scheduled tee time. Members are expected to fulfill the required number of games.

CANCELLING: When you know you are NOT GOING TO PLAY, it is important that you call Scarlett Woods Golf Course (not the Golf Captain) up to 6 days in advance, stating your TEE TIME, GROUP NUMBER and NAME.  They are maintaining and updating the tee times. The number is 416-392-2484.

RAIN DAYS will now be determined by Scarlett Woods. If you are scheduled to play, you are expected to show up ready to play: otherwise you will be considered a "no show". If you are a "no show" too often, the City will remove your name from our league.

ON THE DAY OF GOLFING: Please arrive at the golf course 20 minutes before your tee time.  Pay for golf in the Pro Shop, and IMMEDIATELY check with the other members of your foursome before going down to the starter. Then listen for the group number to be called over the speaker system in the club house. Remain near the upper area, ready to golf.  Follow the starter’s instructions.  It is common to have to adjust the tee time groups when there are cancellations or late-comers. If you are missing one of your foursome, try to complete your group with another member who is ready to play.
