Our 2023 golf season will commence May 1. Our AGM is on April 24th at the Fairfield Community Centre.

July 31st Fun Day #3 - Putting Challenge
Sept 11th - Tournament Day (rain day Sept 18th)
Sept 25th - Last Day of OLGC Season
Q: Why do I have to follow the rules of play?
A: Scarlett Woods allows us a certain number of tee times, but requires that we maintain rules of golf etiquette. One of these concerns slow play ........ that we maintain a standard of speed that would allow the course to have other paying customers following our slotted tee times. The expected time to play this moderately difficult 18 hole course is 3 hours (info from City of Toronto website https://www.toronto.ca/explore-enjoy/recreation/golf/pace-etiquette/). That is the reason for the guidelines about picking up your ball after 4 hits on a par 3 and 5 hits on a par 4. It is also a courtesy to faster players in that you are not affecting their enjoyment of the game while you learn and perfect your skills. How can we improve our speed? by going to a driving range to practice and/or by taking lessons. Thank you for your cooperation!
